Week 7

On Tuesday of this week the group visited the machine shop that Drexel had with the hope that the Creo models could be made into a prototype. The man at the shop said that Creo models were only useful for making 3D models out of plastic. Unfortunately, the group wants the prototype to be made out of metal. The man at the shop said that in order to make a metal model he needed technical drawings with full dimensions. After this the group began to make the necessary technical drawings in the hopes that they could be completed by next week's lab. If this goal can be achieved, then the group plans to have a functioning prototype by the Week 9 lab.
